Summary

There is no more sacred part of a trial than the presentation and acknowledgment of the magnitude of loss suffered by the plaintiff. There is no magic formula, no calculation that can capture the true value of human pain, suffering, disability, disfigurement, loss of consortium, loss of life. But neither is our personhood incapable of being quantified monetarily. Which is all that our system of civil justice allows. Join Karen Koehler for this lesson on how to talk about and secure general damages for your clients.
