Summary

Civility is a key component of professionalism. Fostering civility involves understanding the personal, professional, and societal costs of incivility. Addressing explicit and implicit bias is a fundamental aspect of civility. When we begin to understand our own biases and how they’ve impacted us, we can better understand the biases of others. In this webinar, Craig Sims will explore how we use proverbial masks and how removing them facilitates recognition of our shared humanity.
